Hello! I’m Catherine, your quirky millennial mum behind this blog. I live in Sydney with my gaming addict husband and superheroes Batman (pug) and Robin (toddler). I love watching rom-coms and eating hot chips.

While on parental leave and slightly hormonal, I started The Millennial Mum blog because I was frustrated with mainstream parenting magazines, books and websites. I don’t know about you, but advice from the 1950’s doesn’t really tickle my pickle. The world may not need another parenting blog, but what the world needs is to stop bs-ing and misrepresenting parenthood.

Parenthood is awesome don’t get me wrong, but can we please calm down on the ‘humble bragging’ and saying #blessed-to-every-single-damn-thing? I also started this blog because I wanted to celebrate parenthood by featuring unapologetic interviews with inspirational mothers from a diverse background- mothers who are #girlbosses, LBGTI, game changers and story tellers. I’ll review and feature cool things and share personal posts on parenthood (the good, bad and ugly-minus the fluff).
